Big Nate, by Lincoln Peirce

I would recommend this book to someone who likes jokes and tons of comics.

This book is about a kid named Nate who gets into a lot of trouble. He is a sixth grader and he hates his teacher called Mrs. Goofry and he has to make silly and mean comics about her. When she sees them he gets detention and he makes all these goals and he totally fails them. He plays an a baseball team called Jose’s Pizza. They lose all the time. He has a best friend named Francis and they sit right next to each other in class. Nate is really bad with his homework do he copies every single thing Francis does and then they both get in to trouble and get sent to detention. You can see that Nate gets sent to the principle’s office a lot because he has a spot that he always has to sit in or he will get really mad.

Now every summer he goes to the beach and tries to impress the ladies by throwing a frisbee by them but he always fails and hits the girl. He is always stressed about summer he is always counting the minutes that have passed. Francis likes to spend his summer just chilling around. They love each other so much that they both were each other for Halloween. Francis really loves school and is the total opposite of Nate. He likes a girl named Jenny.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars.
